Artist talk with Myriam Gras
on “Infrastructural Ramifications”
Catalysti x Art School Maa Lecture Series 2024-2025
30.01.2025 Artist talk with Myriam Gras
on “Infrastructural Ramifications”
at 10–11.30 on Zoom (request link via info@taidekoulumaa.fi)
The multivarious practice of Myriam Gras spans artistic and curatorial research and is concerned with what is considered valuable in the transformative moment that makes up the present. Tracing infrastructural ramifications - through fieldwork, interdisciplinary collaborations and systemic thinking - she identifies how underlying scales, time and meanings simultaneously unfold and intertwine, while being subject to ecological, social and economic shifts and uncertainties.
Her latest projects include collaborations with scientists, farmers and fellow artists and curators, through the complex processes of filmmaking, relating and knowledge exchange.
