We warmly invite You to the launch event of Art School Maa’s history book on May 20 at 6 pm at MAA-tila Project Space in Pääskylänrinne 10, Sörnäinen.

In 2021 was the 35th anniversary of Art School Maa. In honor of this, we compiled a publication on the school’s multi-faceted history. In addition to this, the publication is also a contribution in favor of free and independent art education.

The event will include at least a relaxed get-together, glimpses of the Art School Maa's history (and future), and drinks & snacks. The makers of the publication will briefly present the book at 18:30. The book is for sale at a special price. Payment in cash or by MobilePay.

Past and present students, teachers and other staff of Art School Maa, as well as anyone else interested in Maa's activities are warmly welcome! You are also free to spread the word.

Accessibility Information:
- MAA-tila project space is located 350m from Sörnainen metro station & 250m from bus stops 2409, 2413 & 2411.
- There is Zone 2 on-street parking directly outside the gallery.
- The entrance to MAA-tila project space is on street level with thresholds of up to 6cm at the entrance, and a door width of 77cm. The toilet has a 2cm threshold but is not spacious enough to meet accessibility standards. The nearest accessible toilet is located 50m away at Sörkan Ruusu, however, their ramp is only available on request, and during opening hours.
